New Job

I have been working in my new job for 2 months now. And I like it! I would LOVE to be home more, but at least I am closer to home and in a clinic that I enjoy. I work here in South Jordan now at a family medicine clinic. It's been a little slow going but is finally picking up a little bit. When I first started working the clinic was basically just a shell. We've had to order everything from bandaids and cotton balls to exam beds and an EKG machine. Since I'm the only doctor there right now I've had a chance to make everything according to what I would like. Hopefully the other doctors like it when they come. We finally started seeing patients about one month ago and we've had approximately one to 10 patients a day. Yesterday we had 8. The best thing about it is that it's only about 15 minutes commute. I'm grateful every day for that part! If you know anybody that needs a doctor in the Salt Lake Valley, send them our way! We do everything including well child checks, adult exams, immunizations, well woman exams, scout physicals, sports physicals, acute sick visits including stitches (if you can time your accidents to office hours), to diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. A little of everything. And yes, that's also a shameless plug :o)
