Halloween

Today is daylight savings and, unfortunately, that's not something you teach kids right away. So the picture below is in the wee hours of the morning (earlier than I wished) on Sunday. Yes, it's blurry because I can't quite move as fast as he can, even though he's not actually moving at all. He's one week shy of 4 months, still not rolling, but thinking about it. He's quite the smiley little guy and is apparently ticklish under his armpits, which is something I found out yesterday. As you can see, he's not exactly starving and he gets rolls all over his little body, so I was putting some powder under his armpits and he belted out a belly laugh. So adorable!!!!

For Halloween we decided to dress up as the Average Joe team from Dodgeball. We had some friends who went as the mean team from the same movie - yep, we're pretty clever :o) We went to a dance party one night while my parents watched Finn and the next night we took Finn with us. Must say that it's kind of nice to spend time with James! We also took him to my parent's house to have his first trick-or-treating experience. He loved it :o) We didn't get any pictures of our friends along with us, but you can check out facebook because it's on there.

Action shot of the little bubble blower. He's also learned a new trick this weekend and spends most of his time sticking his tongue out and blowing. It's pretty messy, but very cute. He gets excited when we copy him.

We love going to the pond behind our house to feed the ducks. When Steven and Zachary come over we'll always take a walk and visit the ducks. Steven seems to enjoy it, as do we all. This little duck was the bravest. He's actually begging like a dog! When I was feeding him, he actually stepped on my toes a couple of times because he wanted to get as close as he could to the food. It was funny! None of the other ducks dared to that. Actually, I'm not even sure that this is a duck, but it probably is? Sadly, they started draining the pond for the winter today. I don't know why they do that, but it'll be pretty again after it snows.

There you go Heather, I updated :o)
