Swimming with the dolphins is just something you've gotta do at least once in your life (or in our case, twice :o). It wasn't exactly in our plans but the first day in Cabo was too stormy to go snorkeling, so we got a last minute slot in the dolphin swim. It's absolutely amazing swimming with these gentle giants!
Just some cute pictures of us on the cruise ship itself.
First day in Cabo. After swimming with the dolphins we decided to go to one of the beaches, but not until after grabbing a little grub at this wharf restaurant.
Look at those abs . . . on James of course. Mine I was hoping to hide behind his head.
The second day we did get a chance to go snorkeling. This is a picture of us on the boat heading out to the reefs.
Puerto Vallarta was a little bit more of what I expected in Mexico with all its lush landscapes and rivers. It was beautiful! This was definitely my favorite part of the entire trip. We did the zip lines here and loved it. It was a whole day long adventure. We first took speed boats to another beach, then loaded up in these beautiful Mercedes jeeps from the 1950's and 4-wheeled it up a winding road. Then we saddled up on mules to finally get to the start of the zip lines. There were about 12 different zip lines and 3 different repels, one of which included the waterfall in the pics below. I'm not afraid of heights at all, but my friend was petrified, but did really well. James also did amazingly well.
And thus ended our cruise. Thanks to everyone who watched Finn for us. He did great, but I will never forget the horrible look on his face when we came home. He was so confused and betrayed. But, he forgave us after a few days. We had a great time. Do we want to be regular cruisers? Probably not, but we will do it again. I'm saying we should do the Mediterranean next time. Anyone want to join us?
Fun pictures, can't wait for the comments!
