Our Bundle of Joy

Finn Colter Palmer was born on July 12 at 5:44 p.m. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 21.5 inches long. After a minor bump during labor, we were rushed to the operating room where he was born. He came home last Sunday and now we're just adjusting to life together. We've already had many adventures such as going to the park to watch ultimate frisbee, hiking around Silver Lake at Brighton in the rain, picnic with family, and just trying to eat and sleep. Luckily we've also had some help so that James and I could get some time to play with friends visiting from China. We went to the movie Inception and we loved it! Pretty interesting ideas. And we also made it out to the Real soccer game for the 24th and watched the fireworks. Good thing we didn't bring Finn to that one because there was constant drum beating and horn blowing and I think his little ears wouldn't appreciate it yet. Here are some pictures of our first week together (most of them are from the hospital). And once again, they are backwards in order of time. One of these days I'll become more proficient at blogging!!!! Now we just need to keep taking pictures. He's already growing a ton and by the time we made it out of the hospital he was already past his birth weight and we never had a chance to use his new born diapers.
